TravelMarketplace (“we”, “us”, “our”) connects travelers with independent travel agents and suppliers (hotels, tour operators, cab providers, activity providers, property rentals, and insurance and visa services). This policy explains what information we collect and how it is used across the platform.

Information We Collect

Travelers: name, mobile number, email address, city, and the details you submit in a quote request (destination, travel dates, budget, and any message you write to an agent).

Agents: name, business name, mobile and WhatsApp numbers, email, city, service specialties, bio, and PAN number for verification.

Suppliers: business name, contact person, mobile number, email, city, address, PAN number, business summary, year established, and any GST, MSME, or local authority certification details you choose to provide.

How Your Information Is Used and Shared

TravelMarketplace is a platform that connects travelers with independent agents and suppliers — it does not itself provide travel services. This means sharing information between parties is core to how the platform works:

• When a traveler sends a quote request to an agent, that agent receives the traveler’s name, email, phone number, and message.
• Agent and supplier contact details, city, specialties, and verification status are shown publicly on their profile pages so travelers can evaluate them before reaching out.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.

Payments and Wallet

Agents and suppliers may purchase credits for listing fees, lead access, and promoted placement. Payments are processed through our payment gateway partner; we do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.

Verification Documents

Where agents or suppliers provide identity or business verification documents (such as PAN, GST, or other certifications) for a Verified or Trusted badge, these are used solely to confirm legitimacy and are not displayed publicly beyond the badge itself.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online platform can guarantee absolute security, so please avoid sharing sensitive financial details through quote-request messages.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Note that deleting your account does not retract information already shared with an agent or supplier through a prior inquiry.

Children’s Privacy

TravelMarketplace is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
